The lives of Do Chi-Gwang (Han Suk-Kyu), Kim Young-Koon (Seo Kang-Joon), and Han Tae-Joo (Kim Hyun-Joo) were shattered by a tragic affair Watcher. They become members of an internal affairs investigation team within the police, determined to uncover the truth behind the disaster.
Do Chi-Gwang is an elite detective known for his thoughtfulness, intelligence, and impressive record of capturing criminals. After working on numerous cases, he recognizes the crucial role the police play in addressing corruption. He eventually becomes the chief of the internal affairs investigation team.
Kim Young-Koon is a police officer in the mobile patrol team. Though he appears cold and distant, he has a warm and tender personality. He prefers to keep to himself and avoids social interactions. By chance, he crosses paths with Do Chi-Gwang, who is linked to the tragic affair Kim Young-Koon is trying to forget. Driven by a desire to uncover the truth, Kim Young-Koon joins the internal affairs investigation team.
Han Tae-Joo is a popular lawyer with a background as a prosecutor. After narrowly surviving a dangerous case that put her life at risk, she left her job as a prosecutor to become a lawyer. She meets Do Chi-Gwang and Kim Young-Koon and decides to join their internal affairs team, seeking to uncover the truth behind the tragic affair.
