Shin Ha-Ri (Kim Se-Jeong) is a single woman working for a company Business Proposal . She has had a long-time crush on a male friend, but her heart sinks when she finds out he has a girlfriend. Feeling down, Shin Ha-Ri meets up with her friend Jin Young-Seo, who comes from a wealthy chaebol family. Jin Young-Seo asks Shin Ha-Ri to go on a blind date in her place, offering her money in return. Shin Ha-Ri agrees, planning to make a terrible impression and get rejected by the date. However, she is shocked to discover that her blind date is Kang Tae-Moo (Ahn Hyo-Seop), the CEO of the company where she works.
Kang Tae-Moo is the CEO of the company his grandfather founded. When his grandfather arranges another blind date for him, the workaholic Tae-Moo decides to marry the next woman he meets on a blind date to avoid further distractions from work. That woman turns out to be Shin Ha-Ri, who is pretending to be Jin Young-Seo.
The next day, Shin Ha-Ri receives a call from Kang Tae-Moo. He asks her to marry him.
