This story revolves around the mysterious and powerful phenomenon of ” Alchemy of Souls,” where the souls of the dead return to the living, intertwining the fates of several characters in the land of Daeho.
Jang Uk (played by Lee Jae-Wook) is a young man from the esteemed Jang family, but he carries a dark secret about his birth that is the talk of the nation. Known for being a troublemaker, Jang Uk’s life takes a turn when he encounters Mu-Deok (played by Jung So-Min), an elite warrior whose soul is trapped in a frail body. Despite her physical limitations, Mu-Deok becomes Jang Uk’s servant while secretly training him in the art of combat.
Another key figure is Seo Yul (played by Minhyun), who hails from the noble Seo family. He is admired for his flawless appearance, intelligence, and exceptional martial arts skills. Meanwhile, Go Won (played by Shin Seung-Ho) is the crown prince of Daeho, aspiring to be a benevolent ruler.
