Plot of Marry My Husband (2024)
In Marry My Husband the story of Kang Ji-Won (played by Park Min-Young), a woman trapped in a loveless and burdensome marriage with Park Min-Hwan (played by Lee Yi-Kyung). Ji-Won is the sole breadwinner of the family, carrying the financial weight of her unemployed husband, who is deeply in debt. On top of that, she must deal with her demanding mother-in-law and manage all the household chores by herself.
Ji-Won’s world comes crashing down when she is diagnosed with terminal cancer, learning that she has only a short time left to live. To make matters worse, she discovers that her husband is having an affair with her close friend, Jeong Su-Min (played by Song Ha-Yoon). Confronting them leads to a physical struggle during which Ji-Won is tragically killed by her husband.
In an unexpected twist, Ji-Won wakes up to find herself ten years in the past, back when she was still dating Park Min-Hwan. Realizing she has been given a second chance, Ji-Won is determined to change the course of her life. She decides to push Jeong Su-Min towards marrying Park Min-Hwan, hoping to avoid the disastrous marriage that led to her demise.
As Ji-Won navigates her new reality, she encounters Yoo Ji-Hyeok (played by Na In-Woo), a chief in the same department where she works. Ji-Hyeok has secretly admired Ji-Won for a long time, and as they grow closer, he slowly reveals his feelings for her. However, Ji-Hyeok harbors a secret that could alter everything for Ji-Won.
In this emotional and suspenseful story, Ji-Won must use her knowledge of the future to rewrite her past, prevent her tragic fate, and possibly find true love with someone who genuinely cares for her.
