Plot of My Happy Ending (Kdrama) 2023
In My Happy Ending Seo Jae-Won (Jang Na-Ra) seems to have it all: a successful career and a loving family. As the CEO of a thriving furniture company with millions of dollars in annual sales, she is also a popular social media influencer with over a million followers. Her keen eye for talent leads her to scout Yoon Te-O (Lee Ki-Taek), an exceptional designer, to become the general manager of design at her company.
In her personal life, Seo Jae-Won is happily married to Heo Soon-Young (Son Ho-Jun), a freelance designer and professor in industrial design. Heo Soon-Young is a warm-hearted individual who rarely loses his temper. Since their marriage, he has always prioritized his family above all else, cherishing his role as a devoted husband and father.
However, things begin to take a turn when Kwon Yoo-Jin (So E-Hyun) reenters Seo Jae-Won’s life. Kwon Yoo-Jin, a former university classmate from the same art department, is struggling through a difficult divorce and a declining art career. Upon reconnecting with Seo Jae-Won, Kwon Yoo-Jin becomes envious of her seemingly perfect life.
As jealousy brews, Seo Jae-Won’s once-perfect world starts to unravel. She finds herself betrayed by those she trusted and discovers hidden secrets that shake the foundation of her personal and professional life. The challenges she faces test her resilience and force her to confront the darker aspects of those around her.
