In Perfect Marriage Revenge – Han Yi-Joo (played by Jung Yoo-Min) is a talented painter who was adopted by Han Jin-Woong and Lee Jung-Hye (played by Lee Min-Young), the owners of Hanwool Financial Group. Despite her privileged upbringing, Yi-Joo never received love or acceptance from her adoptive parents or her younger sister, Han Yoo-Ra (played by Jin Ji-Hee). Instead, she lived a life of isolation within her own family.
Yi-Joo is married to Jung Se-Hyeok, but her world shatters when she discovers that her husband is in love with her sister, Yoo-Ra. On the same day she learns this painful truth, Yi-Joo is involved in a tragic car accident and dies.
However, Yi-Joo mysteriously wakes up back in time, just before her engagement to Jung Se-Hyeok. With a second chance at life, she is determined to rewrite her fate and seek revenge on those who betrayed her. She decides to break off her engagement with Se-Hyeok and instead sets her sights on Seo Do-Guk (played by Sung Hoon), the grandson of the Taeja Group’s founder. Do-Guk is intelligent, handsome, and someone Yoo-Ra desires to marry.
Yi-Joo proposes a contract marriage to Do-Guk, who agrees, but with one condition: he wants their contract marriage to eventually become real. As Yi-Joo navigates this new path, she is driven by her desire for revenge but also finds herself entangled in unexpected emotions and challenges.
