Plot Revenant (2023)
Revenant (2023) – When the door to another world opens, demons exist there. Gu San-Yeong (Kim Tae-Ri) becomes possessed by one of these demons. Yeom Hae-Sang (Oh Jung-Se) has the ability to see the demon that possesses Gu San-Yeong. Together, they seek to uncover the truth behind the mysterious deaths connected to five sacred objects.
Gu San-Yeong juggles part-time work during the day and studies to become a low-ranking public officer at night. One day, she receives some belongings left by her late father. Following this, mysterious deaths occur around her, and she begins to notice changes within herself.
Yeom Hae-Sang, who comes from a wealthy background, teaches Korean folklore at a university. Since childhood, he has had the unique ability to see demons. He even witnessed his mother being killed by a demon. Upon meeting Gu San-Yeong, he encounters the demon that killed his mother.
Lee Hong-Sae (Hong Kyung) is a lieutenant on the violent crimes investigation team, primarily focused on advancing his career within the police department. However, due to Gu San-Yeong and Yeom Hae-Sang, he becomes entangled in these mysterious cases.
